Our Sportsman Series step is built to the same high-quality standards as the "Original Trick Step." So, what’s the difference? The step pads are made from 1/4" steel plate, and the step rail is constructed from 3" x 1-1/2" rectangular tube steel with a reinforced gusset for added strength and durability. Instead of 18 feet of TIG welds, the Sportsman Series step utilizes a hybrid welding process: TIG welded where maximum strength is required, and MIG welded on the step rail and pads. The fit, form, function, and quality are identical to our "Original Trick Step" — you’re simply paying less to own it. Proudly built in the USA with USA-made steel.
