Trick Lock: Made out of 6061 Aluminum, Black powder coated to match Trick Step. (Hardware kit includes Lock cover, Z-Torx tool, Z-Torx stainless steel bolts, and Cover plugs)

2017 Ranger Boat...
Just installed the steps by myself. Took me about an hour. It should be noted that the purpose in installing them was to better enable me to launch and load the boat by myself. Due to a neck injury, I currently have very limited use of my left-arm. I am and was still recovering from my second neck surgery at the time of install. I would recommend two people to do the install but as stated it can be done by yourself provided you understand and follow the installation instructions. Hats off to "Trick Step" for working through the installation process and providing the two non-locking nuts to make installing the steps possible by one person. I was able to do so despite only having one good arm. It took me longer than it should have but due to the precise fit and quality instructions it was feasible. Steps are well designed, heavy duty and functional. Stepping to and from the step to the boat is a little awkward for me due to how and where my graphs are mounted, but with the handrail doing so is very manageable. It sure beats pulling myself up with one arm and rolling up on to the deck like a beached whale.

Best investment
Ok I saw the price and was skeptical about spending that kind of money for something to mount on my trailer. However, best money I’ve spent I can get in and out of my boat with ease. If you don’t have this you need this. From fishing tournaments to taking veterans out for my non profit this step has changed the way I get in and out of my boat on the trailer. Thanks for a great product

Trick Step Review
I ordered my Trick Step on a Sunday and received it on Thursday. I was a little worried it wasn't going to fit correctly because of the front step on my Ranger trailer, but it fit perfectly. This product is of excellent quality, well built and solid. The step portion is all one piece with no holes for water to get it. The finish is a tough as whats on my Ranger trailer. It took literal minutes to install and matches the boat perfectly. It makes it so easy for this old man to climb in and out of my Ranger. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is in the market for front steps. Trick Step is second to none!! Jon G.
