Iam surprised how stable the steps are. Only negative is the the locking plate doesn't fit. After seeing how the unit attaches to trailer not sure if locking is necessary.

It would be nice if the bottom step height would be adjustable, being where it’s at now the lowest , would come in handy if you could adjust the height up some depending on the customers trailer tounge height , that way the step is never lower than the tounge

Being disabled I needed steps to safely launch and load my bass boat so one Sunday evening I sent an email to Trick Step to find out if they had steps that would fit my Ranger 518 VX trailer and sent it not expecting a answer till Monday and within 15 minutes my phone rang and it was Joe from Trick Step, I told him what I was looking for and he said he had it in stock and took my order over the phone and it shipped out Monday morning, he even sent me a picture of the post that it was to be mounted on. Great product and great customer service, thank you Joe for making this an easy purchase.

This is one fine product. If you have a bass boat and do not have a Trick Step on it, you should have. You do not know what you are missing.

Steps arrived as promised.Very easy install preformed as advertised.Only the 4 7/16” mounting bolts were 1” too short $10 to replace at hardware store installed in 15 min.Great quality and design.

Trick Step was the perfect addition to my bass boat, I am getting older and getting out and hooking the boat up at the ramp was getting more difficult every year. Trick Step was the cure and I no longer have to hang off the side of the boat trying to stand on the trailer frame to hook the boat up. Thanks

Service spectacular. Joe filled my order same day. I am 6 ft 250 and it handles me well. I particularly like the steps when I load my Ranger on the trailer. I no longer need to lay down and hang over front to connect strap before pulling up ramp. Just walk down and can use both hands. Thanks for a wonderful product.

These steps are well made and easy to install per instructions. Make it so much easier for my 78 year old self to enter and exit my Ranger 363V while it is on the 1993 Ranger Trail Trailer. Not that for proper installation I needed a set of blocks that are available from Trick Steps.

Joe was very professional and easy to work with. They had to do a modification on my steps to allow me to swing my trailer tongue in order to be able to put my boat garage door down. It worked perfect! Would recommend Trick Steps to anyone looking for bow-mounted boat trailer steps!

My new set of steps fit perfectly with the proper alignment blocks. Steps are well make and holds me and I weigh 230 lbs without even the slightest movement. The only concern I have is the closeness of the bottom step to the short tongue on these trailers. I haven’t tried them yet with the trailer attached to the hitch but I believe it is low enough to avoid contact with the bumper or hitch when turning or backing the trailer. The people at the Trick Step Co. we’re very helpful when ordering to get the proper fit for my 1993 Ranger Trail Reailer.

I installed my steps yesterday , it took approximately 45 mins to install alone. These are my second set of steps from trick step, had another set on my 2016 Bass Tracker. The steps look great and are very stable. It's the easiest and safest way to get in and out of anyboat. They allow you to safely hook up your boat at ramp when trailering it. If you want stability and safety in boat trailer steps, then look no further, you have found them. Thank you Trick Steps for such a great product.

Joe was a pleasure to work with--friendly, professional and extremely helpful. My steps had to be customized to make the bottom step removable so I can swing my trailer tongue in order to close and lock my boat garage door. The steps are perfect and everything turned out great. I don't have a lot of time with using them, but I can say that when you need to get into the boat it's the best money that I have ever spent,, because I want everyone that reads this too think about how many time's you step up on the trailer and pull yourself up in the boat and if only once you hit your belt against the gel coat and leave a huge scar or chip a bit or a big piece off ! Consider what that's going to Cost you in $$$ and when it's in a shop getting repaired,, that would make it an investment value alone!! But let me ask one more question how many times have you looked at the trailer when you get back to the dock to make sure that no one has stolen your steps off of the trailer,, that is why I Purchased the Steps and Locking plate cover!! Plus when climbing in the boat from a fender and you slipped it is going to hurt you even if you are a young man because when you get older I will tell you that it's going to come back in your older years and I wish these were around long ago for just winching the boat up it's a little investment for a bigger reward for the Price of putting them on the boat trailer and the new owner will love them on the trailer too!!

Everything fit as advertised and more sturdy than expected

Shipped two days later than promised but arrived in Texas in just two days. Not a problem as I was in no hurry. From box opening to completed install took around 20 minutes with help from wife. All parts were in the box and fit as advertised. Very stable platform which will be great assist for one advancing in age. Look forward to towing and on the water evaluation.

The Step was Made for my 2006 Ranger 178VS Trailer. It took about 20 minutes for me to install myself. I have never been able to get in the Boat easier.

This is the 2nd Trick Step I've bought. The 1st was for my father and the 2nd for me. A necessity for safe entry and exit from bass boats especially for us aging fishermen. Very easy simple installation and quite stout even for a 275 lb angler.

I bought this step from my dad’s boat. He has a Bass Tracker Classic and he absolutely loves having these steps!

This trick step was a perfect fit for my 2006 Ranger 178VS. I had both my knee's replaced a year ago & it so easy to get in my boat now. These steps are great for anyone.

I emailed the salesman at quick step about getting one for my 1992 Ranger Apache Trailer. He called me within 5 minutes and asked for a picture of the wench area on the trailer. I sent him a picture and he called back within 2 minutes and told me with a couple of spacers the quick step they have for the 2003 Ranger trailer would work on my 1992 trailer. I ordered it and it arrived in 3 days. Great Service! great Product!

The unit fit just right on my 1993 ranger 692c trailer. Went together great, and shipment was very quick ordered monday and received Thursday same week.

This product seems to be of great quality, I have only taken the boat out once since installing but believe this will help out tremendously.

Installed due to a fractured ankle back in June. Been out three times since my accident and each time my partner hand to hook my boat to the trailer. Now with this it should be a breeze.

Being 74 with poor balance, the four step trick step is a great solution. The folks at Trick Step put an extension on the handle that gives me more reach into the boat. I ordered the lock kit, failed to read the separate instructions and created a problem that I did not have to have but took the original plate off and put the new plate on---actually have them both on now and all is working well. My suggestion is to read the instructions included for all parts and then it is easy.....installed by me as my helper was running late. Great product.

Trick step fits boat awesome.and looks great. If I were to make a suggestion it would be to cut grove in aluminum bar on opposite side so you could keep lower step attached but turned inward while in storage in garage. Awesome product! Thanks

I purchased the rgr11 for my ranger 188vx it fit perfectly. Mark took my order over phone and made sure I had correct steps. Very sol6 and well made. Makes getting in and out of boat so much easier instead of crawling in and out over now. Watched video on installation told my wife would take 20 or 30 minutes to install she just laughed. It was mounted in 25 minutes and she was amazed. So glad I made the purchase!!!s

The best money I've spent in a long time. The steps fit perfectly, although I thought for a minute they were for the wrong trailer, as I have a Triton boat and trailer. I put them on anyway and they fit perfectly. Now it is much easier to get in and out of the boat. The folks that own and build the steps are great to work with. I would highly recommend these folks for your steps. I would like to be able to send a photo of the steps on my trailer.

This is the best upgrade you can do for a boat. I can load and unload the boat much better and safer that climbing over the side to unhook the wench.

After falling by slipping off the landing platform on the Ranger trailer. I purchased the trick step. I feel much more comfortable entering and exiting the boat when out of the water.

Bought rg 11 for 2008 , but paperwork says it's for 2001 - 2003. It fits and works just fine. Should include security bolts and nuts.

this is a great product. I am a 48 yr old combat veteran and my knees aren't very good anymore. This step makes it so much easier for me to get into my boat!!

Future buyers - these stairs are the best thing I ever purchased for myself. I should have done this many years ago. I'm a Vietnam combat wounded veteran with some body problems. For years I have had trouble getting up and out of my boat when it was on the trailer and carried a step stool to help. But, these steps are great. I just installed them last week, went to my fishing clubs tournament and showed them to everyone. Hopefully you will get more sales. A fantastic product that you must buy. It made getting in and out of my boat a pleasure with no effort.

This was about as easy as it get's to install. It is a well engineered product all the way down to the hardware. With the powdercoat and the anti-slip pads it looks real nice on my boat trailer.
